Port Klang: Hishamuddin sisters vote together, first for youngest

KLANG - Port Klang voters begins to flood Sekolah Rendah Agama Taman Kem as of 9am in a bid to carry out their responsibility as responsibile Malaysians and vote for their next state representatives.

Voters were in high spirits, eagerly waiting in line to cast their votes since morning.

Four sisters Irdina Hishamuddin, 18, Nurazmina Hishamuddin, 23, Husnina Hishamuddin, 24, and Nurimanina Hishamuddin, 20, arrived at the school in a bid to share a special voting moment especially it being Irdina's first time.

"It feels good and hope everyone would go vote as well," Husnina, eldest of the four, said.

She said it was a good experience for her sister Irdina as well as she was still a student to learn about her role and duties to the country.

Irdina, excited with the morning events, told Sinar Daily; "It was a good experience".

The Undi18 and automatic voter registration was gazetted and implemented on Dec 15, allowing those below the age of 21 to 18 years old to enter voting fold.
