Police report made by a voter on "clone ballot papers" in Seberang Jaya

SEBERANG JAYA — A police report over the alleged "clone ballot paper" video clip has been lodged at the Bukit Mertajam Police Station today at 1.35 pm.

According to the police report sighted by Sinar Daily, the voter said he saw the alleged clone ballot papers at the Pakatan Harapan (PH) tent in front of Sekolah Kebangsaan Pauh Jaya.

The report quoted the complainant that he went to visit the booth and found printed ballot-like papers which marked the PH candidate’s name Johari Kassim.

"As a voter, I feel dissatisfied because the coalition was campaigning in front of the voting centre," it said in the statement.

Earlier, Sinar Daily reported a12-minute video clip allegedly showing hundreds of "clone ballot papers" on the table at a tent that displayed the PH flag.

These ballot papers had both Sebarang Jaya candidates names and logo PN's Izhar Shah Arif and PH's Johari on it.

Sinar Daily trying to get comments from Seberang Prai Tengah district police chief Assistant Commissioner Tan Cheng San and Deputy Inspector-General of Police Datuk Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay as well as the Election Commission.

Izhar and Johari is in a straight battle for Seberang Jaya state seat in the Penang polls today.
