SEBERANG JAYA — Pakatan Harapan (PH) candidate Johari Kassim has clarified the “clone ballot papers” stating that it was mere samples for voters to refer to.

“Regarding the clone ballot papers, it is totally not original. In fact, there’s no serial number on it.

“Even the cross was printed, not handwritten,” he told Sinar Daily.

He said it was just an example for the voters to see and has not been distributed to the voters here.

The clone ballot papers were seen at a PH tent in front of the Sekolah Kebangsaan Pauh Jaya this afternoon.

Earlier, a 12-minute video clip allegedly showing hundreds of these yellow ballot papers with Sebarang Jaya candidates; Perikatan Nasional’s Izhar Shah Arif Shah and PH’s Johari on it.

“If he (Izhar) is smart, he would know which is the original voting paper, and example of voting paper.

“So, he’s not worth it to be a leader,” Johari added.

Following this, a police report was lodged at the Bukit Mertajam Police Station today at 1.35 pm.
