KUALA LUMPUR - The 13th ASEAN Para Games (APG) is set to be held in Nakhon Ratchasima (Korat), Thailand, from Jan 20 to 26, 2026.

The multi-sport games for people with disabilities returns to the province after 19 years since hosting the 2007 edition, which saw 14 sports contested.

The ASEAN Para Sports Federation (APSF) confirmed the details through a statement after a delegation led by its President Major General Osoth Bhavilai paid a courtesy call on Thailand Minister of Tourism and Sports Phiphat Rachakitprakarn, yesterday.

APSF said Nakhon Ratchasima, located 260km from Bangkok, is a large province with rich Khmer culture in the northeastern plateau, acting as a gateway to other provinces in the northeast.

Korat 2026 has proposed 19 sports for the 13th APG, including making e-sports an official medal sport after it was introduced as a demonstration sport in this year’s Cambodian edition in Phnom Penh, last June.
