ALOR MENGKUDU - Former Kedah FA captain, Radhi Mat Din of Perikatan Nasional (PN) has won the Alor Mengkudu state seat.
The former footballer who is known by the nickname "Captain Marvel" among Kedah fans beat Kedah Pakatan Harapan chairman Datuk Mahfuz Omar.
Not new to each other, Radhi went against Mahfuz in the 14th General Election for the Pokok Sena parliamentary seat, where the latter won with a majority of 5,558 votes.
Alor Mengkudu is among the hotly contested seats in the Kedah state elections.
