PETALING JAYA - The official results are in and Perikatan Nasional's Dr Afif Bahardin emerges victorious in the Taman Medan state seat, securing his seat with a slim majority.
After a closely contested battle, Dr Afif managed to garner a total of 22,316 votes, securing his win and representing the people of Taman Medan in the state assembly.
His opponent, Pakatan Harapan's Ahmad Akhir Pawan Chik, garnered 22,286 votes, making it an incredibly tight race.
The final official results reveal that Dr Afif secured victory with a majority of just 30 votes.
