This morning after casting his vote at the Sekolah Kebangsaan Klang Gate polling centre, Azmin spoke to reporters about his plans for a total overhaul of Hulu Kelang and reforms for the Selangor state as a whole.

“The first thing that we will do to Selangor if we win is to turn Selangor into a super smart state. It is already an advanced state but it has to to go to a higher position.

"We want Selangor to remain as the economic powerhouse. To achieve this, we must convince foreign investors, domestic investors to contribute with a comprehensive economic policy that can attract their activities in Selangor,” he said this morning.

Azmin said there needs to be investments in high technology that can create quality job opportunities for the next generation, which will contribute to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of the country.
