Red wave for Selangor as Pakatan Harapan secures its fourth term

KLANG - Pakatan Harapan (PH) secures its fourth term in Selangor after winning the state polls 2023.

Pakatan Harapan won a simple majority of 29 out of 56 seats while Perikatan Nasional managed to secure 22 seats in Selangor.

Caretaker Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Amirudin Shari expressed his gratitude towards Selangor voters.

“The people of Selangor have made the right decision by recognising the Unity Team in the 2023 Selangor State Election 2023.

He further celebrates PH’s successfully overcome the orchestrated ‘green’ wave that has been brewing since February 2020.

Additionally, this would be the first time Selangor is governed by the Unity Team following the coalition between PH and Barisan Nasional (BN).

Amirudin states the recently form Unity Team in Selangor which is three months are prepared to form the Unity State Government of Selangor.

“The Selangor Unity team is ready to implement all the plans and policies that have been peeviously put forth.

“We are committed to strengthening inter-ethnic harmony in the state.

“This victory is a triumph for the people of Selangor, who have chosen unity for stability and prosperity,” he said at Wyndham Acmar hotel.
