"After we (Johor Amanah) have submitted the names, the central leadership will evaluate...to ensure the proposed candidates are really qualified.

Aminolhuda who is also Johor Pakatan Harapan (PH) deputy chairman said PH will not take lightly the support of voters for Perikatan Nasional (PN), especially in the six state elections on Saturday.

"As the support for PN is increasing, we need to field the best candidates and at the same time, we will campaign seriously without being aggressive and provocative,” he said.

Meanwhile, Aminolhuda in a Facebook post said his side had met Johor Menteri Besar Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi in Saujana, Johor Bahru, yesterday to discuss the by-elections.
