KOTA BHARU - Kelantan Menteri Besar Datuk Mohd Nassuruddin Daud hinted that there will be changes in the state government's exco portfolio.

"There will be some slight changes. We will inform about it later since the appointment was just made yesterday (Tuesday) and we are reorganising," he said during a press conference today.

Earlier, he reported for duty on his first day as the Menteri Besar at the Darulnaim Complex here.

He said his team will announce the changes in the near future.

Yesterday, it was reported that five new faces who won in the recent state election were appointed as members of the Kelantan state government's exco.

They are Rohani Ibrahim (Tanjong Mas), Mohd Asri Mat Daud (Demit), Zamakhshari Mohamad (Apam Putra) and Hilmi Abdullah (Guchil).

For the first time, Bersatu, which is a partner of Pas in the Perikatan Nasional (PN) coalition was also appointed to the exco who was its chairman Datuk Kamaruddin Md Noor (Air Lanas).

Meanwhile, five existing exco members have been retained, namely Major (Retired) Datuk Md Anizam Ab Rahman, Datuk Dr Izani Husin, Tuan Saripuddin Tuan Ismail, and Wan Roslan Wan Hamat.
