SHAH ALAM - An e-hailing driver, Sharipuddin Shaari, 53, who died due to the plane crash in Elmina, Section U16, Shah Alam on Thursday, was joking with his wife through the WhatsApp application a few hours before the incident.

The matter was shared by a close relative of the victim who uses the account name Hazwani Hamdan on Facebook on Friday.

In the short message, he was seen sending a picture showing the injury on his face as a result of wearing glasses.

The late Sharipuddin also joked that the injury caused his face to look masculine (ganas).

"I got wounded by my glasses, now you know that I am vicious," he said at 1.14 pm, Thursday.

His wife responded to the joke a minute later.

"Vicious, but likes to complain to his wife even for a small injury. Adoiii (an expression of dismay), hahahaha," she said.

In the meantime, in the same message, the owner of the account also prayed for Sharipuddin, also known as Pokcik Din.

"Oh god, Mami spent the whole day commenting on the plane crash in Elmina with daddy yesterday, suddenly this morning we got the news that the Grab ehailing driver who also died in the crash was a person we know, Al-Fatihah Pokcik Din.
