Three policies will make Selangor continue to prosper - Amirudin
SHAH ALAM - Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari, has outlined three policies that must be implemented to continue the excellence and development of state ahead of the first session of the state assembly.
He stated that the first is the implementation of all planned frameworks and policies, such as the First Selangor Plan (RS-1) and Compassionate Selangor Commitment (ISP), in order to benefit the people.
He emphasized that the effort to sustain this continuity involves not only the highest administration but also the support of civil servants, state government subsidiaries and grassroots communities.
"The second is our willingness to act as a team. After understanding all the policies, having a teamwork attitude is crucial. Everyone must know their responsibilities, whether it's at the federal or state level, because the people see the government as a whole and not individual departments.
"To make us stronger and more united in carrying out our tasks and responsibilities, we must instill the spirit of love, care, and patriotism for the country and the state.
"In addition to policies, we must also understand the history and background to maintain harmony. These are the three basic ways for us to continue progressing and elevate Selangor as a prosperous state," he said.
Amirudin was speaking at the month assembly for civil servants and the launch of the Raise the National Flag Campaign at the Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah building here.
When met after the event, Amirudin said that the message conveyed to the state's civil servants was clear and straightforward for implementing the policies and promises made.
"I conveyed a very straightforward message to all civil servants that we want to implement all the policies and promises we have put forward.
"It should be understood and I believe this approach will help us in delivering these policies well and also reach the targets we have set in every policy and program that we will and have implemented.
"This will be a start for all civil servants to work harder and be more prepared for the new term and also to be ready for any possibilities and conditions that may arise in the environment based on past experiences," he said.
