KUALA LUMPUR - The MYJalan application introduced by the Public Works Ministry will not reject any complaints on road damages throughout the nation.

Public Works Minister Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi said this represented a part of the government's determination to provide the best services to consumers by implementing the ‘no wrong door policy’.

“When an individual complains it would enter the MYJalan campaign complaint channel and the system and applications built. It has been operational since last week.

“So, when a complaint is made through the one-stop centre that enforces the ‘no wrong door policy’, even if the road referred to in the complaint is not a federal road and is not under the supervision of the ministry and the Public Works Department, but it is a state road, we will not reject the complaint,” he said.

He said such during the Agenda Awani programme on Tuesday.

Nanta explained if the ministry received a report regarding roads that were not under its jurisdiction, the report would be channelled to the authorities related and actions would be taken to rectify the issue.

The MYJalan campaign which was a long-term campaign. It would involve several implementation phases and the launch would be officiated by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim on Aug 24, 2023, at the Tasik Banding Public Lake Jetty, Perak. - AWANI
