Baddrol Bakhtiar's father passes away
ALOR SETAR - The father of Gurun state assemblyman Baddrol Bakhtiar passes away at his residence in Cinta Sayang Resort Villa, Sungai Petani at 6.04am on Wednesday.
The passing of the late Bakhtiar Md Isa, 66, was announced through the official social media account of the former national football player who was newly elected as a representative on August 12.
It is understood that Baddrol accompanied his father to seek treatment at Sultan Abdul Halim Hospital (HSAH) Sungai Petani a few days ago.
Meanwhile, Baddrol's father-in-law, Mustafa Khalid Hanafi, 66, when contacted said that the deceased had just finished undergoing surgery for typhoid at HSAH.
The final rites would be held at Taman Ria Mosque, Sungai Petani after Zohor before being buried at Al Busyro Mosque Islamic Cemetery, Merbok.
