SHAH ALAM - NU Empire launches its Merdeka CSR Campaign in collaboration with the IDEAS Autism Centre (IAC) in hopes of bridging the social gap experienced by autistic children.

The campaign which was held on Aug 21 at Nu Sentral aims to create a fun and interactive environment for children with autism to learn crucial social skills through engagement with their peers.

"The core concept of our initiative revolves around the belief that all children, regardless of whether they have been diagnosed with autism or not, have activities that bring them joy.

"This campaign is also designed to draw the attention of the public towards the challenges faced by individuals living with autism," NU Empire said in a press release.

The event was supported by Kidzooona at NU Empire and among the activities held were arts and crafts and games which included a slider, air bouncer, ball pool, and paper town.

The activities held were adapted from Japan to provide a unique educational play experience for children and integrated sensory, motor, and speech stimulants for the children.

The event was attended by IAC Ambassadors Ms. Suki Low and Dr. Jezamine Lim, CEO of Cell Biopeutics Resources, Center of Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine UKM Research Fellow and Young Scientist Network-Academy of Sciences Malaysia Exco Member (YSN-ASM).

Distinguished guests from Pelaburan Hartanah Berhad, the property owner of NU Empire, were also in attendance.
