SHAH ALAM – Amanah and Umno are now accused of being DAP's Gurkhas for fighting against Pas and departing from the original principles and foundations of the struggle to defend religion, nation and homeland.

Pas president Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang claimed that both parties are willing to be DAP's bulwark that do not need to be instructed, like Gurkha soldiers in the British army.

He said that the British colonialists were famous for their open cunning without hiding, but many were still fooled so that they did not realise they were being used.

He said the British colonialists were famous for their blatant cunning, but many were still fooled and did not realise they were being used.

"Among their tricks is using the nations they colonised as the frontline soldiers to fight against their enemies.

"The most famous example is the Gurkha soldiers from Nepal, a country in the Himalayas who were hardy, very brave, and obedient with orders.

"In Malaysian politics, we witness the British way being used as an approach.

"This can be witnessed through the trust established to fight Pas and now, DAP has managed to get new members from Umno," he wrote on his Facebook today.

He added that the statements of some of Umno's top leaders who tried to defend DAP had shown that there was a training process to make the party a new member of DAP's Gurkha team.

"Umno is seen to have strayed from the original principles and foundations of its struggle while DAP is still holding firm and still fighting according to the party's constitution, even insisting and continuing to defend the principle of secularism.

"The interpretation of Islam in the Federal Constitution is according to the knowledge of DAP, which is to keep Islam in a low position according to the position placed by the colonialists," he explained.

He also opined that DAP also continues to fight for the concept of 'Malaysian Malaysia' which minimises the supremacy of the Muslim Malays and Bumiputeras who own this country.

"The aim is to give equal supremacy to foreigners according to the former colonial agenda aimed at weakening the position of Islam and the Malays who adhere to it.

"Therefore, DAP chose to be with the international party that brought the agenda for the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination (ICERD) to carry out colonial intervention against this country.

Hadi stressed that Pas will not allow such extreme actions to continue together with Islamic non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and kings who are responsible before God when they are appointed as religious leaders.
