KUALA LUMPUR - Chief of Defence Force, General Tan Sri Affendi Buang said that sports was a vital way to foster closer relations between the Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM) and the general public by allowing them to learn more about the country’s main security force.

On the armed forces’ personnel’s achievements in sports, Affendi expressed hope that their success would continue to the international level.
