PM ensures basic infrastructure for all schools by Oct

PUTRAJAYA - Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim guarantees that all schools will be fitted with basic infrastructure by the end of October.
He said the basic needs to be prepared were items such as roofs and complete washrooms, which would be better than building a landmark.
"Before the end of October, all schools in the nation, such as Sekolah Kebangsaan, Chinese schools, Tamil schools, and government-aided religious schools (SABK), would be guaranteed to have basic infrastructure with roofs, washrooms, and such," he said in his speech at the Independence Day Prime Minister's address event at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC) here on Wednesday.
