Teenage girl missing, believed to have run away with boyfriend

JASIN - A teenage girl decides to run away with her boyfriend to ‘find peace’ since Sunday.

The teenager, identified as Nurwada Asmadi, 14, was reported missing after she left her home in Kampung Chohong, Chin Chin with her boyfriend, who the family members knew nothing of.

Jasin District Police Chief Deputy Superintendent Ahmad Jamil Radzi said his team received a police report regarding the disappearance of the high school student at the Jasin District Police Headquarters (IPD) at 10.32am on Monday.

He said the teenager also left a note and told the family that she left the house to find peace and brought along a bag.

"The teenager is still in school with physical details of around 160 centimeters in height and 50 kilograms in weight.

"Investigating officers have met the school management to get more information and it is believed that her boyfriend is also a teenager but does not attend school," he said in a statement on Tuesday.
