SHAH ALAM - Parents lauded the Karnival Pendidikan Sinar Bestari, urging more education events all over Malaysia.

The carnival goers not only came from Selangor, but some parents were willing to travel all the way from Negeri Sembilan to experience the education carnival with their kids.

Hailing from Seremban, Nurul Shahidah Othman, 38, who is a housewife, was thankful that Sinar Karangkraf hosted an education carnival that brought learning through visual, mind and touch.

"What attracted me the most is the way of education presented in this carnival, the organisers did not only focus on books as education, but they provided a platform for the kids to learn from visualising and touch.

"For example, touching and petting the animals from the Farm in the City, playing games which involve concentration like Jenga and puzzle," she told Sinar Daily.

However, she urged education carnivals like this to be held in all states in Malaysia as it might benefit more students, kids and parents from each state.

Meanwhile, Customer Care Officer Nurul Syazwani Abdul Talip, 48, said the education carnival was an eye-opener on how to enrol her kids in higher institutions.

"As a parent, this carnival definitely benefitted me in many ways.
