By-elections: Zahid grateful for PH-BN victories

SHAH ALAM - Umno President Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi expresses his utmost gratitude to Pakatan Harapan (PH) and Barisan Nasional (BN) machinery and voters for their effort to campaign for the candidates to win in the Johor by-election.

The deputy prime minister expressed his gratitude on the victories on a Facebook post following the official results announcement, tonight.

"Syukur Alhamdulilah (Thank, God)," he said in the caption followed by hashtags of Pulai, Simpang Jeram and unity government.

This came after PH candidate Nazri Abdul Rahman won the Simpang Jeram state seat in today's by-election, winning by a majority of 3,514 votes.

Meanwhile, Suhaizan Kaiat wins the Pulai parliamentary seat with a majority of 18, 641 votes.
