Health Ministry denies increasing RM1 government clinic fee

PUTRAJAYA - The Health Ministry has never issued official information on any increase in fees for government clinic services.
In a Facebook post, the ministry said the spread of false information circulating on social media by irresponsible parties has caused confusion among the public.
Therefore, the ministry has advised the public to refrain from sharing false information and not to propagate unauthorised information.
"We advise everyone to exercise caution when disseminating information and always verify its accuracy before sharing it with others," it said.
Previously, there was a viral TikTok video claiming that Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim would raise the fees for health clinic services from RM1 to RM10 to RM15.
