Prices of some Gardenia products to increase by 10 cents to 20 cents this October

SHAH ALAM - Gardenia Bakeries (KL) Sdn Bhd (Gardenia) confirms that some of its selected products will be sold at new prices, with an increase of between 10 sen and 20 sen starting on Oct 1.

Gardenia KL said that it has revised 30 selected products, including Gardenia Bun Sambal Bilis from RM1.50 to RM1.60, Gardenia Twiggies choc-a-lot from RM2.00 to RM2.10, Gardenia Waffles chocolate from RM1.50 to RM1.60, and Gardenia QuickBites (all flavours) ranging from RM1.10 to RM1.60 to RM1.20 to RM1.70.

"However, the price of white bread, whole wheat bread, and Toast'em bread remains at the old price to ensure that this increase does not burden the majority of its customers," it said.

This includes the Original Classic 400 gram white bread and the Original Classic Jumbo 600 gram which are still sold at RM3 and RM4.40 per loaf, respectively.

It is understood that the last time Gardenia reviewed the price of its products was in September last year.
