SUNGAI BULOH - Hundreds of Daikin Malaysia employees and their family members gather at the 'Daikin Festival Unites All' programme at the Daikin headquarters here, today.

The programme was officiated by Raja Muda Selangor Tengku Amir Shah Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah.

Daikin senior vice-president Mitsuo Honda said the programme was held to express appreciation for its employees.

"We recognise that the unwavering dedication of our employees plays an integral role in the company's performance.

"This festival aims to foster a sense of unity among employees and strengthen bonds and friendships among them, their families and neighbours alike," he said.

Attendees also had the opportunity to get autographs from their favourite Selangor FC players during an autograph session at the programme which was the highlight of the day.

There were various activities held during the programme including a Japanese Yasokai dance performance as well as Malaysian cultural performances.

The festival was also held to express gratitude and fortify connections with neighbouring communities surrounding its headquarters in Sungai Buloh.

Besides that, the event also served as a strong embodiment of Daikin’s dedication to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

As part of its CSR initiative, it gave donations to several schools and orphanages in Sungai Buloh to assist them in their daily operations.
