Family of five travels 200km on motorcycle to seek work

In a heartwarming story, a Facebook user named Syahmi Sarif shared the story of a family of five who traveled over 200 kilometers on a motorcycle from Temerloh, Pahang to Terengganu in search of work.

Syahmi said that he encountered the family while travelling on the East Coast Highway (LPT).

He stopped to ask them where they were from, and they told him that they were going to Terengganu for work.

Syahmi was shocked to learn that the family was traveling with three young children, including a baby.

He offered to help by carrying two of their children on his motorcycle, but they declined his offer.

Syahmi followed their motorcycle from behind, afraid that something might happen.

He said that the family continued on their way, even as it was raining heavily, with big lorries passing by.

"Allahu Akbar... as we complain, He reminds us through this story.

"It makes me feel grateful. I pray that the children of this family on the motorcycle grow up to be pious and take good care of their parents when they grow up.

"I'm posting this to ask all of you to pray for this family, that their affairs may be made easy," Syahmi wrote in his post.

Syahmi's post has gone viral, with many people offering prayers for the family and hoping that their livelihood will be made easier. - AWANI
