SHAH ALAM – Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) says that unscheduled water disruption and low water pressure are expected at some areas in Klang, Shah Alam, Petaling, Gombak, Kuala Lumpur, Hulu Selangor and Kuala Selangor regions.

This was due to an odour pollution incident at Sungai Selangor.

“Air Selangor would like to inform the latest update of water supply disruption due to the temporary shutdown at the Sungai Selangor Phase 1 (SSP1), Sungai Selangor Phase 2 (SSP2), Sungai Selangor Phase 3 (SSP3) and Rantau Panjang Water Treatment Plants (WTPs) following an odour pollution incident at Sungai Selangor.

“As of 4am this morning, all four SSP1, SSP2, SSP3 and Rantau Panjang WTPs have resumed operations.

“However, unscheduled water disruption and low water pressure are still expected at some areas in Klang, Shah Alam, Petaling, Gombak, Kuala Lumpur, Hulu Selangor and Kuala Selangor regions,” it said in a statement.
