SHAH ALAM - An invitation for all Muslims to join in a special #QuranHour session to recite prayers for our brothers and sisters suffering in Gaza this Sunday.

The special prayers session organised by Ummah Ikhlas, Sinar Karangkraf, Karya Bestari, TV Al Hijrah and My Aqsa Defenders will be focusing on Surah Al Insan, Chapter 76, with the theme 'Global Humanity'.

Please join us in praying that the killing will stop, that a ceasefire across the whole of the Gaza strip will be brokered, and that humanitarian aid will reach the hundreds of thousands of innocent women, children and men whose lives are in great danger.

The Quran Hour will be held in at the Karangkraf headquarters, Shah Alam on Oct 22 from 8.30am to 9.30am.

Participants are advised to bring their own Al-Quran, umbrellas and some food for a light potluck.

Last Saturday, after Hamas fighters successfully “infiltrate” Israeli territory from the Gaza Strip, Israel president Benjamin Netanyahu formally declared war on Hamas.

Palestinian authorities said Israeli strikes have killed at least 2,778 people in Gaza and the death toll has been climbing.
