SHAH ALAM - The Kelantan state government provides full allocations even to the assemblymen from the opposition in the state.

This has been revealed by the Kelantan Menteri Besar Datuk Mohd Nassuruddin Daud during his speech at the 69th Pas Muktamar held at the Ideal Convention Centre in Shah Alam, today.

"Fairness goes hand in hand with piety and this is what we practice in the state of Kelantan.

“When we are in power, we act justly, including providing allocations for the opposition in Kelantan," said the Meranti assemblyman.

On top of that, Nassuruddin said the Terengganu state government did not allocate funds for the opposition, as there were no opposition members in the state.

He added that the same practice was being followed in Kedah and Perlis, with the Pas government upholding principles of fairness.

Prior to this, Nassuruddin demanded that the federal government treat all representatives fairly, emphasising that this was a continuation of the policy even during the rule of the Perikatan Nasional (PN) government, where allocations were provided to the opposition.

“It is important to give full promises, guided by Islamic teachings and the value of justice and benevolence.
