SHAH ALAM - The #QuranHour For Gaza programme which focuses on Surah Al-Insan brings a difference in the fight for the fate of the Palestinian people.

Warisan Ummah Ikhlas Foundation (WUIF) founder Datuk Hussamuddin Yaacub said it was different as it will not be carried out in the form of a demonstration, but rather as a reflection programme for Muslims to truly understand the noble struggle of helping the people in Palestine.

"We need to find a real solution. This problem persists because there are Jewish leaders who are so blind that they are willing to act cruelly and many Muslim leaders around them are also the same as they just let the atrocities happen.

"We have to re-educate mankind until they are able to become better leaders and bear the responsibility to fight.

"Now, we see that the world does not take this responsibility as they just let two million people in the confined place (Gaza) solve the problem themselves," he said on the 'Assalamualaikum' show on TV Alhijrah today.

Previously, Sinar Harian reported that WUIF in collaboration with MyAqsa Defenders, will organise the #QuranHour For Gaza programme tomorrow to refocus both Muslims and non-Muslims on understanding the values of the Quranic surah regarding the humanitarian crisis between Palestine and Israel.

Therefore, Hussamuddin called on the public to come together to ponder upon the meaning of Surah Al-Insan down to detail in order to embrace it as the way of life.

"Those who possess the abrar quality are considered to have a high position in Paradise, they are among those who are always grateful, providing help to those in trouble and are consistently worshiping Allah.

"Take a look at the requirements for the Al-Qassam Brigade members appointed during the opening of Mecca where candidates must be verified by the imam that they had attended the morning prayers for three consecutive months at the local mosque," he said.

Through the same act, he said that the community can be evaluated as to whether they are or are not capable just yet to stand up for the rights of the Palestinians.

Therefore, he added that the #QuranHour For Gaza aimed to help Muslims prepare and equip themselves with significant human values in line with that laid out in the Quran such as in Surah Al-Insan.
