Malaysian kids organised a digital pro-Palestine rally in Roblox
SHAH ALAM – Malaysian kids organised a digital pro-Palestine rally in Roblox, aimed at protesting Israel's occupation of Palestine.
A user-created experience on the Roblox named “(Palestine) Dataran Tanjung Mas”, has established a virtual arena for young players to engage in activism.
This virtual environment has been uploaded by the @ROSHAnotGamer, a Malaysian gamer with approximately 219,000 TikTok followers.
With a simple caption, he wrote: "More than 200 Roblox players have gathered for Solidarity for You, Palestine.”
Videos shared on TikTok depict substantial gatherings of players brandishing Palestinian flags within the game.
The characters were seen walking in unison in what appeared to be a march while chanting ‘Hidup, hidup, hidup Palestine’ (Long live Palestine) and call of takbir.
With 10,000 shares, this video has garnered more than 100,000 likes and 5,000 comments.
Upon entering this digital space, players have the option to bear the flag of either Malaysia or Palestine.
While a Palestinian flag adorns the entrance, floating on a moat surrounding a communal square.
