The State Disaster Management Committee secretariat announced that 186 victims from 59 families from Lorong Kedah, Lorong Belakang Klinik, Batu 9 Simpang Tiga, Batu 7, Batu 9, Batu 10, and Lorong Sidang Osman are seeking shelter at the Padang Tembak Multi-purpose Hall in the Hilir Perak district.
According to the secretariat, 58 victims from 22 families from Kampung Kilang Kacang and Kampung Batu 9 Changkat Jong have been placed in the Teluk Intan Municipal Hall, Langkap.
"The relief centre at Sekolah Kebangsaan Changkat Lobak in Kerian is housing 33 victims from seven families from Kampung Matang Tengah," it added.
It also informed that the Sungai Bidor water level is still at a dangerous level at 3.97 metres compared to 4.11 metres this morning.
Meanwhile, the Perak Public Works Department announced that Jalan Kubu Gajah Ijok-Sumpitan in Selama is closed to all vehicles due to a landslide and road users have been advised to use Jalan Pintasan Kampung Sumpitan-Kampung Masjid as an alternative route. - BERNAMA
