Rafizi returns to Parliament, will address August house on economic issues

SHAH ALAM- Economy Minister, Rafizi Ramli returned to Parliament for a round up speech related to issues concerning his ministry after undergoing a heart stent placement procedure at the Universiti Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC) recently.

Rafizi who is also the Member of Parliament for Pandan, said the speech will cover every topic that comes up in relation to the country's economy and is scheduled to begin at 2:00 pm.

"I'll be giving a concluding speech in Parliament this evening to address all of the queries and concerns raised with regards to my ministry

"The session is expected to start around 2pm and I invite all parties to follow the speech live on all social media platforms," he said on the X application on Monday.

Health Minister Dr Zaliha Mustafa had said that Rafizi was in a stable condition after reportedly suffering a heart attack on October 21.

On Oct 21, Health Minister Dr Zaliha Mustafa was reported to have said that Rafizi was in stable condition after suffering from a heart ailment recently.

It is learnt that Rafizi was rushed to UMMC after he suffered a heart attack.
