We hope Zack is craving Italian today because his and Cody’s reservation at Chef Gigi's on the Suite Life on Deck is finally ready after 15 years!

Putting things into context (and in case you were not a Disney fan back then), during one episode aired on Jan 23, 2009, their cruise ship docked in Rome, Italy where Zack and Cody, played by Dylan and Cole Sprouse respectively, attempted to get dinner at the restaurant also known as the “Michelangelo of Manicotti”.

They couldn’t get a table though, as the chef tells the boys, “I can squeeze you in at 7.30 on Nov 16, 2023.

“But that’s in 15 years,” Cody states, before Zack asks, “What if I don’t feel like Italian that day?”

The episode clearly struck a nerve with fans as they worked hard to get the series trending across all social media platforms for the past few weeks with many commenting on the 31-year-old brothers' latest Instagram posts and eventually earning the attention of both.

Dylan, who is now the owner of Brooklyn-based All-Wise Meadery, took to his Instagram this evening to react to all of the fuss.

He shared a photo of himself looking flustered as he posed with his palm on his forehead and eyes darting away from the camera. He then covered the image with apparent quotes from fans tagging him in the resurfaced post, like “Get ready for Italian food!”, "In the mood for Italian?" and “Reminding you your table is ready”.

Cole meanwhile posted a screen grab of him scrolling through his direct messages of fans' comments and taggings reminding the brothers their table was ready.

Suite Life of Zack & Cody aired on Disney Channel from 2005 to 2008, led to a spinoff titled Suite Life on Deck that ran from 2008 to 2011.

Since the show ended, fans hoped for a reboot, but the twins have shut down the possibility multiple times.

“Reboots are a tricky thing, you know? The original shows, when they become successful, sit within this golden little plate of nostalgia and when you modernise it and go back to it, it has the potential to really disenfranchise the original fan base. So it’s a very, very touchy thing,”

Cole said during a January 2021 appearance on the Drew Barrymore Show. “I’m asked all the time if Dylan and I are going to do a Suite Life reboot, and I go, ‘No, absolutely not.’”

Cole has been more prominent in the acting scene after their Suite Life shows, namely playing Jughead Jones in the series Riverdale, a loose adoption of the Archie comics.

Cole and Dylan first appeared on TV in Friends as Ross’ son Ben Gellar. They also starred opposite Adam Sandler as Julian McGrath back in 1999 in the movie Big Daddy.
