In a fiery online rant recently, American rapper Cardi B slammed United States (US) President Joe Biden and vowed to never endorse another president again following the news of significant budget cuts anticipated for New York City.

Previously, New York Mayor Eric Adams announced that there would be a 5 per cent cut across the police, fire, sanitation departments and schools amid the surge of migrants in the Big Apple.

Cardi B who was a previous supporter of Biden called out the leaders for the budget cuts while the country provides funding to Israel and Ukraine amid the ongoing humanitarian crisis and aggression.

“Joe Biden is talking about like, yeah, we could fund two wars. We cannot fund these wars. We can’t fund these wars. We could barely f****** fund this country. Finish it!”

Due to the budget cuts, Cardi B anticipates that the city will get even “even dirtier” and that “crimes are gonna go up the roof”.

“I’m an angry b**** right now. I need y’all to spread this video, and if something happens to me, it’s because I’m speaking the truth,” she said in the recording.

The Bronx native often gives back to her hometown and in 2022, she also partnered with the mayor’s office to help pay for the funerals of the 17 victims of a deadly Bronx apartment fire.

“What's going to happen to my nieces, what's going to happen to my nephews, what's going to happen to my cousins, my aunts, my friends that's living in the hood.

"I'm from the Bronx, I don't want to see my s**t affected,” said the WAP hit rapper.

In Adams’ announcement for the budget cut, he said New Yorkers have been warned for months about the challenging fiscal situation in the city.

“To balance the budget as the law requires, every city agency dug into their own budget to find savings, with minimal disruption to services.

“And while we pulled it off this time, make no mistake: Migrant costs are going up, tax revenue growth is slowing and Covid stimulus is drying up. No city should be left to handle a national humanitarian crisis largely on its own, and without the significant and timely support that we need from Washington DC, today’s budget will only be the beginning,” he said.

Cardi B is just one of the many celebrities that have voiced out against Biden and his administration following the strong support and funding to the Israeli Occupation of Palestine.
