KUALA LUMPUR - The police will summon and record statements from an individual identified as 'Mr H' believed to be linked to a viral video conversation, according to Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Tan Sri Razarudin Husain.

He said they would call 'Mr H' based on information provided by the former Community Communication Department (J-Kom) director-general Datuk Mohammad Agus Yusoff, yesterday.

Razarudin said several other individuals would be called soon, stressing that the police had not received any police reports from the Assistant Officer at J-Kom, Abdul Wahab Abdul Kadir, regarding threats to his safety.

"We ask him to come forward immediately to assist in the investigation," he said.

Razarudin noted that the police were also investigating the leakage of copies of the police report by Agus, which had gone viral on social media.

"The investigation is being conducted under Section 203A of the Penal Code and Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998," he said.

Earlier, Agus and Wahab in a special media conference claimed that their viral video conversation had been edited.

Wahab alleged that he was directed by an individual named Mr H to record his conversation video with the former J-Kom director-general.
