SHAH ALAM - The Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) General Assembly 2023 signifies the party's commitment to renew its idealism, says Bersatu Armada chief.

Wan Ahmad Fayhsal Wan Ahmad Kamal stressed that it is the party's duty to expand and reaffirm its idealism.

"We are gathered here to fulfil our responsibility by renewing our idealism," he said during his speech at the Bersatu General Assembly 2023 held at the IDCC Ideal Convention Centre in Shah Alam.

Meanwhile, he also said that Bersatu could have emerged victorious in the 15th general election (GE15) and state election if there were no allegations against their leaders.

"Bersatu would have secured victory, even in Selangor, if not for the allegations against our leaders, such as Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.

"Hence, we should be patient and united as an opposition, although we are faced with challenges such as the freezing of accounts and accusing our leaders without solid evidence," he said.

Prominent party leaders such as Bersatu deputy president Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu, Bersatu secretary general Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin, and Bersatu vice president Datuk Dr Radzi Jidin were also present at the party's assembly.
