SHAH ALAM - Malaysian power couple Datuk Jovian Mandagie and Datin Nina Sabrina Ismail Sabri announce that they have decided to part ways after a decade of marriage.

The couple, affectionately known as #JoviaNina, shared the news with their fans through a heartfelt statement by Jovian.

"Some marriages are special and were made to last a lifetime, but ours is special for it has evolved into a friendship that will last a lifetime," Jovian said in his Instagram post.

The decision to end their 10-year union was made in August, with the couple emphasising that the reasons for the separation were mutual and believed to be in their best interests.

"We've discovered that as friends and co-parents to Jeanelle, we share a different kind of love that we have come to appreciate.

“Ensuring Jeanelle’s happiness remains our top priority, and so far, we’ve been doing wonderfully, Alhamdulillah.

“Our love towards our parents and families has not changed either. We have faith in Allah’s plan, knowing He is the greatest planner,” he said in the post.

Despite the end of their relationship, Jovian and Sabrina said that their love and respect for each other as individuals have not reduced.

"Whatever you see on both our social media for the past four months is as real as it gets.

"We can't possibly hate or even have a tinge of dislike for each other after sharing a life together for almost a decade," he said.

The couple acknowledged the support they have received from their fans over the years.

"Over the past decade, many of you have been part of our journey. We'll always hold those years close to our hearts," Jovian expressed.

The duo specifically thanked their fans for their unwavering support under the hashtag #JoviaNina.

"Thanks again for your prayers and support as we embark on this separate new chapter in our lives.

"Thank you for your unwavering love and support for #JoviaNina over the years. We appreciate and love you all very much," the post read, leaving their fans with a message of gratitude and assurance that they are both in a good place moving forward.
