SHAH ALAM - The police have advised the public not to make any comments regarding the death of the late Zayn Rayyan Abdul Matiin, whose body was found near the riverbank close to Idaman Apartments, Damansara Damai, here last Wednesday.

Selangor's Police Chief, Datuk Hussein Omar Khan, mentioned that they have detected several comments or statements posted on social media platforms relating to the incident.

"The police urge the public to refrain from making comments regarding the victim's death as investigations are ongoing.

"Such comments not only cause distress among the public but also disturb the emotions of the family, who are grieving the loss of their beloved child," he stated in a statement today.

He further urged the public to allow the police space to complete their investigation.

"The investigation is still ongoing, and efforts to identify the suspects are actively being pursued.

"Avoid making statements that could disrupt the police investigation," he said.
