SHAH ALAM - Multiple media reports, citing high-level sources, indicate a Cabinet reshuffle is imminent and expected to take place tomorrow.

The reports suggest several ministries will be impacted by the changes, which may see the return of experienced MPs as ministers and the debut of new faces in ministerial positions.

An official announcement is anticipated before the swearing-in ceremony.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim had previously hinted at a reshuffle before the year's end.

The reshuffle comes amidst various considerations.

The domestic trade and cost of living portfolio remains vacant following the passing of Datuk Seri Salahuddin Ayub in July.

Additionally, some ministers have been criticised for their performance, while others advocate for the inclusion of experienced leaders in the government.

Calls have also been made for Anwar to appoint a second finance minister to alleviate his workload and allow him to focus more on his role as Prime Minister.
