Cabinet reshuffle: Communications and Digital Minister breaks into two portfolios

SHAH ALAM – In the recently announced cabinet reshuffle, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim reveals that Communications and Digital Minister will be divided into two portfolios.
The new list of cabinet ministers see previous minister Fahmi Fadzil and his deputy Teo Nie Ching would manage Communications.
Anwar also named previous Communications and Multimedia Minister Datuk Gobind Singh Deo as the Digital Minister of his cabinet.
Previously, Gobind helmed the ministry during Pakatan Harapan’s 2018 cabinet.
His deputy would be Datuk Ugak Anak Kumbong. Ugak was previously Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister's Department in charge of Sabah and Sarawak.
