PETALING JAYA - A child who claimed to have seen the late Zayn Rayyan Abdul Matiin five hours before he was reported missing reenacted the incident at Apartment Idaman, Damansara Damai, here on Friday.

The child performed the reenactment with the assistance of members and officers from the Forensic Unit of the Selangor Police Headquarters.

The child is believed to have witnessed Zayn Rayyan five hours before the victim was reported missing on Dec 5.

It is understood that the reenactment was conducted based on the accounts of two child witnesses who are also friends of the victim.

The purpose was to discover if there was any new evidence, starting from the staircase of Block R leading to the riverbank where the victim was found.

On Wednesday, the Selangor Police Chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan said that the two children are believed to have seen the victim on the second and third floors of Block R, Apartment Idaman, Damansara Idaman.
