The victim's uncle, Abdul Razak Judin, 48, said his family had accepted the student's passing.

"Alhamdulillah, so far the parents and families of the victims have been able to accept what has happened, and we have all accepted his passing,” he said when met by reporters outside the Magistrate's Court here on Monday.

Razak arrived at the court at about 8am, together with his two brothers, Mohd Nizam Abdullah, 43, and Ahmad Faizal Jaafar, 47, to represent the family as observers.

However, he said, they will not release any statement because it will be done by the appointed lawyer.
