PUTRAJAYA – The Health Ministry will hold a special press conference regarding the development of the Covid-19 infection.

The press conference would be delivered by Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad at 4pm.

The notification about the press conference was made at 11am following the recent rise of Covid-19 cases in the country.

It was reported that Dr Dzulkefly said that new infections increased by 8,000 cases, making the total number of infections for the period from Dec 10 to 16 at 20,696 cases.

At his first press conference after being named Health Minister last week, Dzulkefly said that the third booster dose of the Covid-19 vaccine should be taken, especially for vulnerable and high-risk groups.
