Child’s cry ignites Subang Bestari brawl - Police
SUNGAI BULOH - The sound of children crying is believed to be the cause of a fight between two men before they were arrested in an incident at an apartment in Subang Bestari near here on Friday.
Sungai Buloh District Police Chief Superintendent Shafa'aton Abu Bakar said the police received a call from a member of the public informing them that there had been a fight involving several men at approximately 6.29pm.
"The police received a report of an individual who went berserk involving residents of the apartment unit.
"Preliminary investigations at the scene found that the incident was caused by the crying of the child of one of the individuals involved," she said in a statement on Saturday.
She said the two individuals involved were local men aged 30 and 42. They were arrested to assist in further investigations related to the incident.
"The two men each suffered wounds to their hands and have received treatment at Sungai Buloh Hospital.
"So far we have recorded statements of three individuals regarding the incident and the police are still conducting further investigations and locating other witnesses to assist the investigation. The case is being investigated under Section 324/160 of the Penal Code," he said.
