SHAH ALAM – Selangor Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) chairman Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali claims that the current state government has failed to develop Selangor.

As the opposition leader in the Selangor State Assembly, he said he had held a Coordination Meeting for Oral and Written Questions in preparation for the Second Term (Opening) of the session scheduled to begin on February 27.

"Come on, we will move and fight against the 'sluggish' leaders who has failed to drive growth and develop the state of Selangor.

"We are always preparing early so that our participation in debates and question-and-answer sessions is more effective and solid for the people of Selangor," he said in a post on Facebook on Monday.

Azmin, who is also the Hulu Kelang assemblyman, said that during the afternoon session of the meeting, all 22 Perikatan Nasional (PN) assemblymen were prepared with oral and written questions.

Azmin emphasised that among the issues raised were the declining performance of local authorities, low-quality road maintenance, clean water issues and the weak financial performance of state government subsidiaries.

"In addition, it also covers issues such as the incomplete people's welfare program, problems with university’s management, declining state trade and investment performance as well as the inability of the state government administration to make decisions.

"We invite the people of Selangor to provide additional input for us to bring to the upcoming session.
