‘It’s amazing’ - David Beckham expresses admiration for Malaysia
Beckham made a surprise appearance for the launch of the adidas Malaysia Girls Football Program.
Under the hot scorching sun, football icon David Beckham is all smiles as he signs autographs and poses for photos with Malaysian fans and lucky members of the media, earlier today at the Royal Selangor Club Kiara Sports Annexe.
He made a surprise appearance for the launch of the adidas Malaysia Girls Football Program (AMGFP).
Amidst the whirlwind of fans interactions, Beckham he took a moment to express his admiration for Malaysia, calling the country “amazing”.
In a video by Sinar Daily, he was asked “David how do you like Malaysia?” to which he responded “it’s amazing”.
The football legend, also known for his sharp sense of style also said Kuala Lumpur is amazing.
Beckham is in town to officiate The World of the Predator Exhibition, a look behind the 30 year history of the iconic football boot by adidas.
The 48-year-old will be making an appearance for the event at the The Exchange TRX at 6pm today.
This however, isn’t Beckham’s first time in Malaysia - he has visited multiple times before, with his most recent trip in September 2017 at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur.
