SHAH ALAM – A witness claims that he saw a light aircraft explode mid-air before crashing near an oil palm plantation in Kampung Tok Muda, Kapar, today.

In a post on TikTok, user @annaimkamal claimed there were fragments of the plane’s components still floating in the after crashing.

“Just happened, a small aircraft exploded mid-air and crashed near Tok Muda. Debris of the explosion can still be seen in the air,” he posted with a video.

The video, which was uploaded two hours ago, has garnered over 1,200 views.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department confirmed the aircraft crash, responding to a distress call at 1.56 pm.

A team of firefighters from Kapar fire station rushed to the scene, initiating a search for victims.

Videos depicting the aftermath of the incident and scattered debris, including parts bearing the plane's registration number (Blackshape BK160-TR), have surfaced on social media and are rapidly gaining traction.
