SHAH ALAM - Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail has denied the claim that Malaysia is likely to be a visa-exempt destination.

The matter was stated by Israel’s 17th permanent representative to the United Nations Danny Danon through the X application in September last year.

Saifuddin said the matter was brought up again to create an evil and slanderous narrative against him and the Malaysian government.

"My presence, as in this picture, is in my capacity as one of the delegations to listen to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim's speech at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).

"Israel, don't flatter yourself. During his speech at the UNGA, the Prime Minister clearly criticised Israel’s actions in front of everyone!," he added.

Danon shared a picture on X showing the Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) secretary-general at the 78th UNGA in New York expressing happiness with the latter's presence.
