SHAH ALAM - Amanah Youth invites more State Legislative Assembly members from Perikatan Nasional (PN) to express their support for Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari, aiming to advance the state's progress.

Amanah Deputy Youth Chief Danial Al-Rashid Haron stated that this move is essential for Selangor's development.

He stressed that Selat Klang assemblyman Datuk Abdul Rashid Asari's recent declaration of support from PN demonstrated his confidence in Amirudin's leadership.

"Considering Rashid's experience and close ties with Selangor's administration members, Amanah Youth believes that his decision is well-founded.

"In line with Selangor's developmental objectives, we perceive the Selat Klang assemblyman's support as a significant contribution that will enhance the state's performance and benefit the people, particularly in Selat Klang," he said in a statement yesterday.

Rashid, who also served as the former Selangor Bersatu chief, publicly announced his backing for Amirudin's leadership.

He said that his decision was made after thorough evaluation of current developments and key factors.

Danial further asserted that the actions taken by the assemblyman reflect a diminishing confidence in the state Opposition eader Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali.
