SHAH ALAM - In a shocking twist, the suspect in the Kuala Langat stabbing case allegedly called the victim's family to tell them of their altercation before his death, according to a source.

The source revealed that the suspect, a 26-year-old part-time model, made contact with the victim's relative, disclosing details of the incident that led to the victim's death.

The victim's relation then relayed the distressing news to the rest of the family.

"We were informed about the incident around 5am by her through a phone call.

"She (suspect) denied being involved in the incident and murdering the victim.

"How could we believe her (suspect) when there are videos of him (victim) admitting being stabbed," the source told Sinar Daily when met.

However, despite the suspect's claims, the victim's family was in denial, especially after watching a video where the victim himself alleged that he had been stabbed.

It is also believed that tension between the suspect and the victim had been brewing for months, with arguments reportedly escalating over the past six months.

Sources close to the family disclosed that the victim had repeatedly asked the suspect to lose contact since their breakup, fuelling further hatred between the two.

Adding to the tragedy, the victim's family had already been grappling with the loss of their loved one, the victim's brother, who passed away due to cancer just eight months prior.

"This incident marks the second devastating death to the family, just less than eight months. It's been tough to the family, especially to victim's mother," the source said.

Further complicating matters, the suspect's decision to transport the victim to a private clinic in Puchong further from the crime scene raised eyebrows among family members.

Instead of seeking medical attention at the nearest facility in Kota Kemuning, the suspect chose to take the victim to a different hospital, causing a delay in receiving critical medical aid.

Earlier today, police have apprehended the part-time model on suspicion of murdering her boyfriend, allegedly due to jealousy and cheating.

The incident, in which the man died after being allegedly stabbed by his partner, occurred at a condominium unit near Kota Kemuning on Monday.

Kuala Langat district police chief Superintendent Ahmad Ridwan Mohd Nor@Saleh said that authorities were alerted to the incident at approximately 9.40am following a police report lodged by a doctor attached to Cyberjaya Hospital.

Ridwan confirmed that the couple had been in a relationship for three years.

The suspect, a former medical student, has no prior criminal record.

The police have initiated a murder investigation under Section 302 of the Penal Code, which carries the death penalty.

Footage involving the couple at the crime scene has gone viral on social media.
